# CutChart > Laser workshop references. Source documents and their scope accompany claims. CutChart does not test laser hardware. A speed conversion does not establish a suitable machine setting. ## Scope and limits - CutChart republishes cutting and engraving parameters that laser manufacturers printed for their own machines, with the source document and the date it was read beside every row. - CutChart has not bought, held or tested any machine described here, and no row on this site is a tested recipe. - A field the publisher does not print, such as air assist, focus or lens, is shown as not specified rather than filled in. An absent row is an unknown answer, not a zero. - A parameter belongs to the exact machine variant that published it. Matching wattage or a matching material name does not transfer a setting to another machine. - A material reaches a settings page only when a cited publisher has stated how to work it safely. A material a cited publisher says not to laser carries the warning and no parameters. ## Available references - [Laser Settings & Workshop Reference | CutChart](https://cutchart.com/): Check laser settings at their source.
